Is a deal close to done?
FOX has started putting pressure on some of their local affiliates to make room for a new Conan O'Brien late show between 11PM ET and midnight ET. This would seem to indicate that a deal between Conan and FOX is seriously being discussed.
As reported yesterday, many local FOX stations are hesitant to run a late night show because of how profitable reruns of sitcoms like The Office and The Simpsons are.
